Thank you for a nice stay in beautiful surroundings. It was nice meeting you all and chatting with you. It was also nice to be able to stay here because we thought we'd have to stay in Hickory. It sure saved us a lot of time and gas not having to drive the extra 40-45 minutes back and forth from Hickory each day and the breakfasts were certainly better! Best wishes to you all and Mimzie. We hope that you will have a room available next year when we're out this way again and have even discussed stopping here for a night each way when we travel to Florida. Maybe we'll have a chance to sample some of that famous Chow Chow we've heard so much about.

We own a B&B up in NYS on Seneca Lake (the Cottage Lakemont on Seneca) and we are going on our 12th year and thinking of retiring. You both treated us like family as we do with our guests. We were honored to be the first people to stay in Taylorsville's first Bed & Breakfast and the first to enjoy the Granny Smith Room. The hosts were delightful, breakfast was delicious. While a walk through town was surprisingly quiet for us city dwellers living in Columbia, South Carolina, we enjoyed its quaintness. Having never stayed at a B&B Amy and I didn't know what to expect. We were welcomed with open arms, and made to feel completely as ease. By the next day 8-19-06, after talking with you all for a while we felt as if we were visiting with friends. 8-20-06 we shared the breakfast table with ya'll and felt as if we were with family. Coming to Taylorsville for my granddaughter's first birthday was pretty important to me, but where I stayed didn't really matter, but what a pleasure it has been to be a guest of Brenda's in this lovely home.
